本文旨在阐明超大型数据库机的结构及其实现。该机具有以下特点:(1)提供高功能的数据库机命令,以支持不同类型的数据库管理系统;(2)将保密检查和安全措施设计在硬件中,作为数据库机的一部分,以减少系统开销;(3)在设计上将硬件、软件作为一个整体来考虑,以发挥各自的特点;(4)建立在目前可行的技术上,用若干个通用或专用小型计算机实现其各部件的功能,使各机任务单一而均衡。总之,本机是以超大型(10~(10)字节),高功能作为其设计目标,在目前研制的数据库机种中,它是值得重视的一种。
This article aims to clarify the structure and realization of very large database machine.
