在安徽省黄山天都峰上,有棵名为探海松的绿树。它立悬峭壁,俯视云海,形象生动,妙趣横生。其实,像这种“咬定青山不放松,立根原在破岩中”的苍松翠柏,在我国何止万千!为什么在悬崖石缝的恶劣环境中会长出参天大树呢?这要归功于树木根部一种膨大变形的菌根。菌根是真菌的菌丝在植物根部形成的特殊构造。形成菌根的真菌叫菌根菌。真菌菌丝在根表面安家落户的称外菌根;在根内安居乐业的叫内菌根。
