In September this year, during the Seventh China Arts Festival in Hangzhou, I watched 16 of these performances. There are both opera (including Beijing Opera, Kunqu Opera, Hunan Huagu Opera, Chu Opera, Henan Opera, Yue Opera, Tibetan Opera, etc.), as well as dance drama and drama. Art types are very rich. These repertories have their own characteristics and their strengths and weaknesses. But one thing is very similar, basically all big productions. The so-called big production, the most intuitive feeling is that when the audience walked into the theater, the scene is seen on the production of sophisticated luxury scene; dozens of people in the band big band; actors (especially extras) frequent replacement, so that Dazzling gorgeous costumes, changing computer lights and so on. These have become an integral part of the rehearsal of a new play, or “big production” seems to be a necessary prelude to a good show, for the success of the work
