After the defeat of the Second World War, the domestic economy in Japan experienced extreme decline and depression. Japan’s economy has rapidly risen, relying on the astonishing expansion of enterprises and the accumulation of profitability. In the 1950s and 1960s, its economic growth averaged as high as 105; in the 1970s and 1980s, Japan’s economy maintained its rapid growth. In particular, the yen rose sharply after 1985’s “Plaza Hotel Agreement.” In order to shift the pressure of appreciation, in the late 1980s, a large number of Japanese funds attacked overseas and conducted cross-border operations. The use of domestic currency appreciation, the timely appreciation of the currency to the foreign countries, virtually make Japan’s wealth surge.
