早就听说桂林阳朔的西街,因为在世界各种语言的许多旅行指南中,它被誉为“背包旅行者的天堂”;因为家在桂林的朋友曾无数次向我谈起那条仅517米长的西街,谈起走进西街的感受,谈起那种说不清、道不明的心结。于是,我们郑重地翻开地图册,把下一站采访的地点定在了桂林的阳朔。1999年春节,成千上万的中外游客早已把桂林挤得满满当当的了。我们躲开喧闹的人群,乘游轮顺漓江而下,大约中午时分在阳朔码头驻足。我们本当是来去匆匆的过客,但在小镇上却住了下来。
Already heard of Guilin, Yangshuo West Street, because in many of the world travel guides in various languages, it is hailed as “paradise backpackers ”; because my family friends in Guilin have talked to me countless times that Only 517 meters long West Street, talked about the feelings into the West, talking about the kind of unclear, unknown road knot. So, we solemnly opened the atlas, the next station interviewed in Yangshuo, Guilin. In the spring of 1999, tens of thousands of Chinese and foreign tourists had crowded Guilin briskly already. We escaped noisy crowd, take the cruise along the Lijiang River, about noon stop at Yangshuo dock. We should have come and gone hurriedly, but lived in the town.
