第六次全国~(14)C学术会议于1994年11月9—13日在四川巫山召开。全国32个单位共79名代表参加了会议。国际第四纪研究联合会主席、中国第四纪研究委员会主任刘东生院士及其他几位国内著名的地质学家、古生物学家和考古学家参加了会议。刘东生先生致开幕词,热烈祝贺我国~(14)C年代学研究取得丰硕成果,并代表中国第四纪研究委员会表彰了仇士华等八位我国~(14)C测年的开拓者以及~(14)C年代学组的工作,肯定了他们忠于科学事业、团结协作、艰苦奋斗的优良传统。他提出我国~(14)C研究的目标要从“区域
The 6th National ~ (14) C Academic Conference was held on November 9-13, 1994 in Wushan, Sichuan. A total of 79 representatives from 32 units attended the conference. The president of International Quaternary Research Federation, the director of China Quaternary Research Committee, and some other well-known domestic geologists, paleontologists and archaeologists attended the conference. Mr. Liu Dongsheng delivered an opening speech. He warmly congratulated China’s (14) C chronological study for its fruitful achievements and commended the Quaternary Research Committee of China on behalf of eight pioneers of China’s (14) C dating and 14 ) The work of the C generation group affirmed their fine tradition of loyalty to the cause of science, unity and cooperation, and hard work.
