一、商品经济的发展和民信局的产生我国经营民间邮寄、汇兑业务的民信局产生于明末清初,而北京的民信局则出现于清朝乾隆年间。在民信局产生以前,我国民间信札往来,主要靠派人投送或托便人捎带,亦间有附驿邮寄的。派专人投送和托便人捎带,是民间古老的通信方法。但派专人送信,一般仅能往来于距离较近的地方,因为路途遥远,投信之人途中往返
