邓小平虽然没有使用过“和谐社会”这一概念,但在他理论的科学体系中有很多内容都涉及我们今天所提到的“和谐社会”问题。他对公平正义、民主法治、充满活力等诸多方面的积极探索包含着丰富的“和谐社会”思想,对于我们今天构建社会主义和谐社会具有理论的指导意义。它使马克思主义在与时俱进的时代观、以人为本的社会主义观、对立而和谐结合的矛盾观、人与自然协调发展的实践观等方面都得到了创新与发展。
Although Deng Xiaoping has never used the concept of “harmonious society,” many elements of his theoretical scientific system are related to the issue of “harmonious society” as we have mentioned today. His active exploration of many aspects such as fairness and justice, democratic rule of law, vitality and so on contains a wealth of “harmonious society” thinking, which is of theoretical significance for us to build a socialist harmonious society today. It has made Marxism innovate and develop in the concept of the times with keeping pace with the times, the concept of people-oriented socialism, the contradictory view of combining opposition and harmony, and the concept of the coordinated development of man and nature.
