Rare earth elements (REE) are also extracted when uranium is recovered from phosphoric acid with diethylhexylphosphoric acid (DEPA) in the presence or absence of trioctylphosphine oxide (TOPO). No attention has been given to this issue so far. REE is extracted as fluoride in the presence or absence of U (IV). In this study, the radioactive isotopes of each element of the REE series were added to the phosphate medium
