针对目前国家高等教育的逐渐普及,越来越多的学生涌入了大学校园这一实际情况,我们不得不对现在高等教育中存在的各方面问题加以深入的思考,尤其是在校大学生的基础教育工作该如何开展与提高,已经成为全社会普遍关注的问题。如果说专业知识的强化是塑造学生专业能力的方式,那么基础知识的丰富则是提高学生社会能力的途径,所以我们不能忽视对学生开展的基础教育。对于非英语专业的学生来说,学好大学英语对其将来的发展是尤为关键的,那么作为负责大学英语教育的工作者,面对着大学英语的大班授课以及学生英语层次参差不齐这一现状,该如何才能以有效的教学方式去提高学生们的英语水平是十分值得思考的问题。本论文在借鉴国内外学者有关大班英语教学理论和实践成果的基础上,对大学英语大班教学中存在的问题做了进一步分析和归纳,并在实践的基础上得出了一些解决问题的办法和措施。
