湖南商学院党委书记欧阳峣教授7月上旬打电话给我,约我为他的新著《民营企业对外直接投资》写篇短评。未有半丝犹豫,我便欣然承诺。待新书寄至,恰赶出刊周,改稿校对的工作十分忙碌,我未有时间仔细拜读。7月20日,在太原开会,本想携带此书,抽空研修,做动笔之备。但因清晨仓促赶机,书却忘记带上。
Prof. Ouyang Li, party secretary of the Hunan Business School, called me in early July and asked me to write a short commentary on his new book Foreign Direct Investment in Private Enterprises. Without hesitation, I am willing to promise. When the new book was sent to, it was just out of the journal, and the revision of the manuscript was very busy. I did not have time to read it carefully. On July 20, a meeting took place in Taiyuan. He wanted to carry this book, took time to study, and to prepare for writing. However, the book was forgotten because it was rushed in the early morning.
