1960年,我在復旦大學歷史系寫本科畢業論文時開始接觸到《宋會要輯稿》,寫的是《北宋初期的土地制度》,我1961年到川大讀研究生時接觸得更多了。後來我指導碩、博士論文時特别注意他們引用《宋會要》的原文,由於《宋會要》還是民國期間出的影印本,從中可看出他們古漢語的能力,是否斷句準確無誤,我把它稱之爲試金石。很多人引用《宋會要》的
