Due to targeting younger audiences with greater cultural differences, some of the pictorial representations in such pictorial representations may have corresponding advantages and disadvantages in terms of their communication effectiveness. The significance of studying the effectiveness of cross-cultural communication of children’s picture books in China lies in speculating on which forms of image presentation can make picture books easier to be accepted and processed by intercultural younger audiences and to influence their attitudes and emotions more effectively As one of the references to improve the cross-cultural communication efficiency of Chinese children’s picture books.
