三年级上册安排了“分数的初步认识”——几分之一,这是在学生已掌握一些整数知识的基础上进行教学的。从整数到分数是数的概念的一次扩展,又是学生认识数的概念的一次质的飞跃。分数与整数,无论是在意义和读写法上,及计算方法上都存在着很大的差异,学生接受起来有一定的难度。为了降低这个难度,教材把分数的教学进行了分段教学,并借助一些学生熟悉的生活情境来出示例题,通过演示和操作,帮助学生逐渐形成分数的正确表象,初步建立分数的概念,理解分数的意义,为日后学习小数和进一步学习分数打下必要的基础。
