这封读者来信所反映的毁林事件,都发生在《森林法》颁布之后;有关部门又知法不执法,对砍伤护林员的犯罪行为听之任之。情况严重,不能容忍！ 去年颁布的《森林法》,是我国有史以来第一部治林的国家法典。坚决贯彻执行这一法令,有利于加快绿化速度,加强森林的保护管理,尽快把林业建设搞上去。自治区在贯彻《森森法》的过程中,始终充满着斗争。象巴楚县发生的这类毁林事件,别的县份也常发生。由于长期以来我国没有以法治林的先例,至今人们对森林经营管理实行法制的观念还很淡薄。为此,要继续广泛深入地宣传贯彻执行《森林法》的必要性,宣传《森林法》所包括的各项内容,帮助人们加深社会主义法制观念,以保证国家法令的顺利执行。凡造林、育林和护林有功的先进集体和个人,应给予精神鼓励或物质奖励;对于违反《森林法》的,应根据情节轻重,责令赔偿损失或处以罚款,并追回非法所得的财物;对于殴打护林人员等犯罪行为,应给予法律制裁。总之,一定要维护社会主义法制的尊严,决不允许无政府主义自由泛滥！
