古往今来,卓有成就的画家大都技艺精湛而又识见超迈。他们勤于实践,善于思考,除了创作大量的绘画作品之外,也有许多画论或画语录问世,给后人留下了无尽的的思索和启迪,何海霞就是这样一位艺术家。他的论画散记是他在绘画创作中的切身体会,因而没有玄虚空洞的理论框架,就象拉家常一样,娓娓道来,亲切自然,朴实无华。然而,在看似不经意的言论中,却不时闪耀着他的艺术思想光辉,触及到绘画创作中的许多根本问题,如“大珠小珠落玉盘”。我作此文的目的,就是要用一根绳子把那些我感兴趣的大珠小珠串起来,难免挂一漏万。
