A survey of the pregnancy outcomes of male workers’ wives who dealt with wastewater in a petroleum smelter found that when a male worker was working at the factory, his wife’s miscarriage rate was twice that of a male worker before or after being transferred to the factory. In order to further explore the possibility of petroleum smelting on male workers whether reproductive hazards, the authors of the sperm concentration and morphology as the observation indicators were investigated. The contact group consisted of 42 oil refinery wastewater treatment workers with an average age of 31.6 years. The control group was 72 other departments of the plant
