图书馆是公共文化设施的一部分。通常公共文化设施在其地域范围内为群众提供文化学习交流,其建设水平和设计风格定位,会影响图书馆本身的吸引力,从而影响大众获得文化的途径,也间接关系到大众的文化程度。除此之外,还会影响当地文化在整个大环境下的整体形象和地域文化的传播。然而随着社会的发展和现代文化对于传统文化的冲击,全国文化的趋同性越发明显,使得地域文化特色渐趋衰弱甚至消失于很大一部分的公共文化设施中。因此,怎样使图书馆的视觉形象系统符合当地地域特点是一个值得探讨和研究的问题。

Their level of construction and their design style will affect the attractiveness of the library itself, thereby affecting the public’s access to culture and the public’s educational level.
