由于癌症的治疗方法日新月异,开始有了治愈的希望。但是对大多数人来说,癌症仍是最可怕的疾病。笔者对癌症患者进行了调查,发现大多数人对癌症都存有担心和不安。即家属问题和癌性疼痛。调查的对象有老年人、职员、家庭妇女、大学生共1,359人,平均年龄36.5岁。当向全体调查对象提问:“当你被告知为癌症时,最担心的是什么?”回答担心家属问题的最多,占50.3%;其次是死前的痛苦,占18.8%;担心死的占17.9%;担心工作、经济、死后的问题等是少数。各组所担心的问题,除老年外,担心家属问题最多,特别是职员。老年组担心死前的痛苦的最多,可以说是老年人的特点。对老年人来说,死是随时可能
