湖北通山、崇阳一带与湘赣交界的南部发育一套既不同于扬子型,也不同于东南型,而是介于扬子沉积区与江南沉积区之间的过渡类型的寒武纪、奥陶纪地层。1963年,杨守仁在咸宁高桥创立“东坑组”,代表早寒武世早期地层,但高桥位于扬子沉积区。1975年,笔者在编著“中南地区古生物图册”及“湖北省古生物图册”的过程中,通过研究分析对比,认为有典型的过渡类型的生物群和过渡类型的沉积。
Hubei Province, Tongshan, Chongyang and Hunan at the junction of the southern development of a set of both different from the Yangtze type, but also different from the southeast type, but between the Yangtze River sedimentary and southern depositional transitional type of Cambrian, Austria Taoji strata. In 1963, Yang Shou-ren established the “Dongkeng Formation” in Xianning Takahashi, representing the Early Cambrian strata, but the Takahashi is located in the Yangtze Sedimentary Zone. In 1975, in the process of compiling the “Atlas of Central and South China Paleontology” and the “Atlas of Ancient Paleontology in Hubei Province”, the author thinks that there are typical transitional biota and transitional types of sediments through research and analysis.
