嘉陵江中下游水土流失严重，是全国水土保持重点防治区，本文通过对典型流域李子溪泥沙流失规律及长治工程效益分析后得出：近十年，由于对生态环境的治理和保护，该流域水土流失呈下降趋势，多年平均输沙量１９８５～１９９４年较１９６５～１９８４年减少了５８．３％。因此，若将该流域治理水土流失的经验和措施，推广到嘉陵江中下游其它地区，该区严重的水土流失定将得到明显改善。
The serious soil and water loss in the middle and lower reaches of Jialing River is the key area for soil and water conservation in our country. After analyzing the law of sediment loss of Lizi River and the benefit of Changzhi Project in typical watershed, this article draws the conclusion that in the recent ten years, due to the management and protection of ecological environment, Soil and water loss shows a downward trend. The average annual sediment transport decreased from 1985 to 1994 by 58.3% from 1965 to 1984. Therefore, if the experiences and measures of water and soil erosion control in the basin are extended to other areas in the middle and lower reaches of the Jialing River, the serious soil and water loss in the area will surely be significantly improved.
