2006年4月15日《,中共中央、国务院关于促进中部地区崛起的若干意见》正式出台,这标志着促进中部崛起战略正式形成。中部地区是我国重要粮食生产、能源原材料、装备制造业基地和综合交通运输枢纽,在经济社会发展格局中占有重要地位。在实施西部大开发、振兴东北之后,促进中部崛起水到渠成。中部崛起可以起到承东启西的作用,承接东部发达地区优势,带到西部经济发展,促进东中西经济平衡发展。
April 15, 2006, “Several Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Promoting the Rise of the Central Region” were formally promulgated, which marked the formal formation of a strategy to promote the rise of Central China. The central region is an important grain production, energy raw materials, equipment manufacturing base and an integrated transportation hub in China, occupying an important position in the economic and social development pattern. After the implementation of western development and rejuvenation of the northeast, it will be possible to promote the rise of the central region. The rise of the central region can play the role of supporting the East and the west by taking advantage of the developed eastern regions and bringing economic development to the west and promoting a balanced economic development between East and West.
