Last year, I had the opportunity to study in Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra and other cities in Australia, where I learned more about the protection, renovation and utilization of buildings over 100 years old. Australian Institute of Engineering Innovation Site, originally built in 1890, a single-storey factory, the purpose of repairing and maintenance of steam trains. Its structure is double-limbed multi-span tubular column, the outer wall of the original building water Taishan brick, some have been repaired, the remaining flush Xian clean to maintain the original appearance of the building. The door is the use of 90’s new white glass wall, windows have been re-designed to reconcile with the wall to coordinate the window beam using the ancient brick form, and sash with a fixed on the (semi) circle
