我馆成立于1958年,已有三十二年历史。通过采购、交换、调入和接受赠送等途径,目前馆藏书刊七万八千多册,中外文期刊六百多种,文摘、索引、题录、大全等检索刊物一百四十多种。30多年来的藏书建设,是围绕我所各个时期的科研方向和长远规划、任务、地方特点来进行的。现已逐步形成以纤维素化学、高分子化学、天然有机化学为主的专业藏书体系。改革开放的形势,要求研究所图书馆必须改变传统图书馆观念,强化图书馆的情报职能,情报工作人员要千方百计将潜在于书刊资料中的知识予以活化,变成动态的知识、情报、信息,最大限度地提高文献利用率,充分发挥图书馆为科研工作服务的有效作用。现将我馆如何开展情报服务工作的做法和可行性,浅谈一管之见。

There are over 140 kinds of publications in abstracts, indexes, bibliographies and catalogs. The collection of books for more than 30 years has been based on the scientific research direction and long-term planning, tasks and local characteristics in various periods of our country. Has now gradually formed to cellulose chemistry, polymer chemistry, natural organic chemistry based professional collection system. In the situation of reform and opening up, it is required that the library of the institute change the traditional library concept and strengthen the intelligence function of the library. The intelligence staff should do everything possible to activate the knowledge in the book materials and turn it into dynamic knowledge, intelligence, information, To maximize the utilization of the literature, give full play to the library for the effective work of scientific research.
