旅游翻译旨在实现跨文化交流,实践性较强,如何处理旅游翻译中的中西语言、文化以及思维差异直接关系到翻译文本的质量。因此,英汉互译旅游文本时,我们应该意识到英汉两种语言的差异和特点,有意识的运用一些翻译方法指导翻译实践。作为译者,了解、掌握并运用具体化的翻译策略在旅游翻译中可以起到很好的指导作用。译者在对原文理解的基础上,对某些抽象的字、词、短语甚至句子进行具体化处理,不但有利于忠实地传达出原文的意思,而且能够保持和再现原文的语义美和语境美。这也正好符合旅游文本翻译的宗旨,有效地达意、交流,而且,具体化的翻译方法还照顾了译语读者的习惯和接受能力,提高了译文的可读性和质量,是一种常用的翻译方法。
The purpose of tourism translation is to achieve intercultural communication, which is very practical. How to deal with the differences between Chinese and western languages, culture and thinking differences in tourism translation is directly related to the quality of translated texts. Therefore, when translating English and Chinese travel texts, we should be aware of the differences and characteristics of the two languages, and consciously apply some methods of translation to guide translation practice. As a translator, understanding, mastering and using concrete translation strategies can play a very good guiding role in tourism translation. On the basis of understanding the original text, the translator concretely processes some abstract words, words, phrases and even sentences, which not only helps faithfully convey the meaning of the original text, but also maintains and reproduces the semantic beauty and the contextual beauty of the original text . This is also in line with the purpose of tourism text translation, and effectively convey and communicate.
