随着世界经济全球化的发展,教育也逐渐走向国际化。独立学院的大学英语教育也逐渐受到重视,过去独立学院的大学英语常常被看做是基础英语,这样的定位导致大学英语教学问题频出,改革工作迫在眉睫。在教育国际化的背景下,针对教学工作中出现的各种问题,进行总结和反思,着重研究独立学院的大学英语要改革原有的教学方法,完善教育体系,不断推动独立学院大学英语的改革,培养出适应社会发展、具有创新能力的应用型人才。
