今年九月,在内蒙古自治区首府呼和浩特市,举行了中国历史上第一次少数民族传统体育运动会,全国五十五个少数民族近五千名运动员参加了这次盛会。在为期八天的运动会中,进行赛骆驼、赛马、射箭、摔跤、武术、秋千、风筝等七十项富有民族特色的比赛和表演。这些项目有的惊险,有的轻松,有的还十分幽默,但无论哪一种都具有浓厚的乡土气,从不同角度反映了各民族的生活、风俗和习惯。
In September this year, the first traditional sports meeting for ethnic minorities in Chinese history was held in Hohhot, the capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Nearly 5,000 athletes from 55 minorities nationwide participated in the event. During the eight days of the Games, there are seventy ethnic competitions and performances such as camel racing, horse racing, archery, wrestling, martial arts, swing and kite. Some of these projects are breathtaking, some relaxing, and some are very humorous. However, both of them have a strong local flavor and reflect the lives, customs and habits of various ethnic groups from different angles.
