淋病的表现是内外生殖器的炎症。据我国卫生防疫部门从1985年至1988年4年间报告已患性病人数140 648人,1988年就达56 090人,其中淋病占性病中77.67％。患病年龄40.3％是青壮年,多为15～39岁之间,患病率最高的为20～24岁之间,其次是25～39岁,然后是15～19岁,患病最小年龄69天的婴儿,最大年龄为64岁。长春市朝阳区有关部门统计报告1987年患淋病1983例,1988年145例,1989年1～4月份就达160例。
