The main function of the Trans-Siberian Railway lies in the exchange between the west and east of Eurasia. The formation of the transport economy along the Trans-Siberian Railway and its branches is of great significance. This article reveals the main features of the long-term development of the Trans-Siberian Railway and its branches and the “Integrated Eurasian Infrastructure System” and describes the comparative characteristics of the Siberian Railroad and the affected areas of China’s New Silk Road.
