四川省少数民族语言文字工作委员会是五十年代成立的,文化大革命中被迫停止工作,现因民族语文工作发展的需要,于5月30日在成都恢复。恢复后的工作任务是:宣传贯彻党的民族语文政策、检查并督促本省的民族语言文字的使用与发展工作;组织调查研究民族语言文字、协调省民族语文研究等活动、主持必要的专题学术讨论和交流、以培养人才,建设一支老中青三结合的民族语文工作队伍;做好上情下
