1998年全国卫生监督工作要进一步深入贯彻党的十五大精神,继续以积极落实《中共中央国务院关于卫生改革与发展的决定》中的有关内容为主要工作,坚持卫生监督工作为人民健康服务,为社会主义现代化建设服务的方向,按照部党组年度工作要求继续积极稳妥地推进卫生监督体制改革,认真做好各项卫生监督工作。 一、全面贯彻实施公共卫生法律法规,深入开展公共卫生领域的各项卫生服务工作 在巩固、提高卫生监督覆盖率、监测频率和各项卫生监督监测合格率的基础上,突出整顿重点领域,抓好大案、要案处理,依法严惩危害人民健康的各种违法行为。继续坚持“监督与服务相结合”的原则,为企业、为社会、为大众做好各项公共卫生服务工作。 1.以1997年全国人大常委会首次检查食品卫生法贯彻执行情况为契机,结合全国人大常委会检查报告及各级人大组织的检查中提出的意见和建议,制订具体的贯彻措施,全面推动公共卫生监督执法工作,并适时将落实情况向全国人大常委会及各级人大汇报。

Great and serious cases are handled, and various illegal activities that endanger people’s health are severely punished according to law. We will continue to adhere to the principle of “combining supervision with services,” and do a good job of public health services for enterprises, society, and the general public. 1.
