在长期的初高中英语教学中,我总有这样的一个困惑,不管是我们教师怎样教英语,但很多学生在英语考试时仍然是以猜为主。究其原因我认为:一是由于我区大部分学生英语基础较差,再加上或受藏语、汉语两种语言的干扰,使得混多学生无法理解或根本看不懂英语试题的意思,从而考试只能靠猜来解决。二是虽然部分学生背诵了大量词汇,也掌握了不少语法,并能简单翻译一些英语试题,但在做英语试题时仍不得要领掌握不了做题方法不得不猜着做题。另外从我区广大基层初高中学生的英语成绩来看,很多的学生英语学与不学从成绩上是看不出多少差距来,从而影响了学生学习英语的积极性。要改变这种现状,我认为首先是要改革能促进学生英语应用能力提高为目的的教学评价制度,让学生能进一步增强其语言能力,并通过提高语言能力达到让学生能用英语交流和练习(做题)的结合。其次我们教师要从转变教学观念、教学内容与课程体系、教学方法、教学手段几个方面着手,切实提高我区初高中学生将英语作为一门语言的运用能力。
