“杀鸡骇猴”语出《官场现形记》:“俗话说得好,叫做‘杀鸡骇猴’,拿鸡子宰了,那猴儿自然害怕。”我认为此说存有一定的片面性和绝对化,特别是“自然害怕”四个字更欠妥。 诚然,“猴子怕见血”,见杀鸡时血淋淋的模样,会产生恐惧。但这只是对一些少见多怪的胆怯的小猴见效,并非对所有的猴子都灵验。如果有的大猴、老猴见多识广,胆子很大,不仅杀鸡看得多,甚至可能参观过现代化牲畜屠宰场,它怎会“自然害怕”?加之有的猴子老奸巨滑,经验丰富,知道杀的是鸡,与它无干,何怕之有?这就是在杀鸡时它连眼珠子都不转一转、眼皮也不眨一眨的原因。 照这么说,是否就没法“治”猴了?非也。问题在于光“杀鸡给猴看”不行,必要时要“杀猴给猴看”,甚至“杀牛给猴看”。求生是动物的本能,生命是最为珍贵的,从低级动物到高级人类无不如此。侵吞公款也好,捞聚钱财
