根据一九八六年四月全国第三次农作物专家顾问组工作会议建议,全国甜菜专家顾问组一行五人于八月二十日至九月二十五日,经宁夏连湖农场、平罗县和甘肃黄羊镇等地,抵新疆,对南疆焉耆、阿克苏及北疆的伊犁、石河子地区的甜菜生长、生产技术改造、政策措施、制糖经济效益等方面进行了考察研究。新疆自治区南北疆的平原农业区发展甜菜生产和制糖工业,有其极优越的自然条件。专家顾问组认为,在“七五”期间,应把甜发生产的重点放在北疆石河子、伊犁、阿尔泰、塔城和南疆焉耆盆地。为加强新疆的甜菜科学研究工作,在近期内应筹建新疆
According to the suggestion of the Third Crop Expert Advisory Group Working Meeting held in April 1986, the National Beet Expert Advisory Group and his entourage of five members from August 20 to September 25, through Lianhu Farm in Ningxia, Ping Luo Counties and Huangyang Town of Gansu Province, arrived in Xinjiang and investigated the growth of sugar beet, technical transformation of production, policies and measures, economic benefits of sugar production in Yanli, Aksu, and Yili, and Shihezi areas in northern Xinjiang. The development of beet production and sugar industry in the plain agricultural areas in the northern and southern Xinjiang Autonomous Region has its own extremely superior natural conditions. In the “7th Five-Year Plan” period, the expert advisory group believes that the focus of sweet-fat production should be on Shihezi, Ili, Altai, Tacheng and Yanqi Basin in the southern part of the country. In order to strengthen Xinjiang’s beet science research work, Xinjiang should be set up in the near future
