“廖氏化风丹”系遵义城北40公里处板桥镇廖氏家族用大娄山本地中药材,结合祖传秘方,研制成的一种丹药。创制于崇祯十七年(1644年),距今370余年。化风丹用药20余味,大胆借鉴白酒发酵工艺,对核心药物作特殊发酵处理制成药母,提高了药性,降低了毒性。其独特的炮制方法、精到的组方配伍使化风丹疗效独特,历经十余代传承,数百年而不衰。廖氏化风丹制作技艺2008年入选国家级非物质文化遗产名录。
