The publication of “China Rice” by the China Agricultural Science and Technology Press at the end of 1992 was a monograph by the newly established China Rice Research Institute which took more than two years to complete by the institute and more than 50 experts from all over the country. This is the tangible result of the joint efforts of the rice industry in the country since the founding of China Rice Research Institute under the heavy task facing the whole country.
