友人蒋晓星,赠我旧书数册,内有《哲学要领前编》一种。此书系日本人井上圆了著,罗伯雅译,上海广智书局光绪二十八年(一九○二)排印线装本。就内容而言,此书亦属于西学东渐之际的启蒙读物,今天已没有什么学术价值。值得一提的,是这位井上圆了君在谈到“东洋哲学”时,坦率地承认“日本古来诸学诸教,皆自支那传来,不闻有一国固有之学,故东洋哲学,唯支那印度两国而已”,倒是比今日某些日本人尊重历史。
