英美两国的音乐教育制度因历史渊源有些相近。本文简要介绍它们都有的—种少儿周末课程。什么是周末班周末班是音乐学院向18岁以下少儿提供的周六白天的课程(program)。每所音乐学院的叫法不一,也称周六学校(Satu rday School)、少年部课程(Junior Departmertment)、大学前课程(pre-college programs)、预备学校(Preparatory shool)等等。为行文方便,下文统称“周末班”。开设周末班的音乐学院有英国的皇家音乐学院
The music education systems in Britain and the United States are similar in history. This article gives a brief introduction to all of them - a kind of kids weekend course.
