E 类开关型调谐功率放大器的效率可接近100%。即使这种功率放大器的开关时间达到信号周期的若干分之一,由于减小了开关晶体管内的功耗,因此特别适用于高频场合。放大器适当加载和调谐后,功耗主要由有源器件的饱和电压和电阻、非另开关时间及引线电感所造成。本文是在以前发表结果的基础上,进一步精确计算其功耗,以获得更精确的电路设计和热设计。
Class E switching tunable power amplifier can be close to 100% efficiency. Even if the switching times of such power amplifiers reach a fraction of the signal period, they are particularly suitable for high frequency applications due to reduced power consumption in the switching transistors. After the amplifier is properly loaded and tuned, the power dissipation is mainly caused by the saturation voltage and resistance of the active device, the non-switching time, and the lead inductance. This article is based on previously published results, further accurate calculation of its power consumption in order to obtain more accurate circuit design and thermal design.
