The T wave is an acoustic wave that is excited by the earthquake and propagates in the low velocity layer of the ocean. The generation process of the T waves in the ocean is rather complex, and there are two popular models for the explanation of the excitation mechanism, incl. Seabed reflection and seabed scattering. A clear T-wave signal was extracted from the seismic signal recorded by the COCO in the Sumatra Peninsula, Indonesia.Further studies found that there was an obvious T wave some time after the first T-wave peak appeared In order to explain this phenomenon, by analyzing the time-domain and frequency-domain features of T-wave signals and calculating the arrival time of T-wave, compared with the actual doublet peak time of T wave, The main reason for inferring this unique phenomenon may be the reflection of the long island.
