在社会主义市场经济和建立现代企业制度试点工作中,凡是劳动关系紧张,经济利益发生矛盾的地方,那里的职工要求工会维护的呼声表现尤为强烈。由于市场经济的某些缺陷,法制的不健全,加上部分企业领导和经营管理者民主意识淡薄及存在官僚主义和不正之风等,都有可能使劳动者合法权益受到伤害。这给职工(劳动者)的地位和享有合法权益带来新的问题,也给工会突出维护的基本职能带来新的挑战和机遇。工会要切实担负起维护职工合法权益的职责,首先要建立一个好的运行机制。
In the pilot work of the socialist market economy and the establishment of a modern enterprise system, where there is a conflict between labor relations and economic interests, the voices of the workers there demanding the maintenance of unions are particularly strong. Due to some flaws in the market economy, the imperfect legal system, and the weak democratic awareness of some business leaders and managers, bureaucracy and unhealthy tendencies, workers’ legal rights and interests may be harmed. This poses new problems for the status of workers and laborers (workers) and the enjoyment of their legitimate rights and interests, and also brings new challenges and opportunities to the basic functions that the trade unions have prominently maintained. Trade unions must earnestly assume the responsibility of safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of workers and staff members. First, we must establish a good operating mechanism.
