荣辱作为一对基本的道德范畴,内含社会和个人对特定事件和人物的价值判断,反映出人的道德价值取向。“荣”和“辱”作为一对道德范畴的概念,自从人类物质生产活动和文化精神活动之始便紧紧伴随着人类。本文通过对荀子荣辱观的分析,深感其思想对当代社会公民的荣辱观建设及公民道德素质建设都有一定的启示。
As a pair of basic ethical categories, honor and disgrace contain the judgments of society and individuals on the value of certain events and characters and reflect the orientation of human moral values. As a concept of moral category, “Rong” and “Shame” are closely associated with mankind since the beginning of human material and cultural activities. Through the analysis of Xunzi’s concept of honor and disgrace, I deeply feel that its thought has certain enlightenment to the construction of honor and dishonor view of contemporary social citizens and the building of civic morality.
