Dow Chemical and Diversa expand R&D cooperation Dow Chemical and Diversa signed a three-year research and licensing agreement for the development of enzyme products. The agreement amounted to 18 million US dollars. The two companies will study chemical process optimization and develop new enzyme products. In 1997, the two companies started cooperation to synthesize biocatalysts for the Dow Chemical Industrial Process and use them to produce hundreds of millions of pounds of production each year.
