蒂森公司经过五年的研究,开发了一种用风冷热风阀代替水冷热风阀的新技术。1987年9月汉伯恩8号热风炉安装了一套风冷热风闷样品进行工业试验,一年后拆除,检查时发现设备完好。试验期间,对主要部位进行测量未发现异常。风冷热风阀的冷空气是从进入热风炉设备之前的冷风中分流出的,然后适当加压,以克服冷风经过热风阀时的压力损失。风冷热风阀的主要优点是:冷风在流过热风阀时被加热后,又能马上回到热风中去。因而,冷却热风阀时从热风中散发出的能量依然存留在热风炉系统中。
After five years of research, Thyssen developed a new technology that replaced the water-cooled hot-blast valve with a hot-blast air valve. In September 1987, a set of air-cooled, hot-air bored samples were installed in an industrial test in Hamberne’s No. 8 hot blast stove. After one year’s demolition, the equipment was found to be in good condition. During the test, the main part of the measurement was found no abnormalities. The cold air from the hot and cold air damper is diverted from the cold air before it enters the hot blast furnace equipment and is then properly pressurized to overcome the pressure loss of the cold air through the hot air damper. The main advantages of air-cooled hot air valve is: cold air flow through the hot air valve is heated, they can immediately return to the hot air. Thus, the energy dissipated from the hot air while cooling the hot blast valve remains in the hot blast stove system.
