1995年,中央电视台相继建设了数字演播室、数字转播车和数字后期编辑系统,为大型节目的创作提供了高质量的环境。《春天的邀请》——1996年春节歌舞晚会是由八讯道数字转播车录制,数字系统制作的一台大型晚会。共制作出210分钟字幕版和无字幕版、120分钟、90分钟、45分钟字幕版,并于除夕夜播出整台晚会210分钟字幕版。节目播出后,受到电视观众的广泛好评。这里仅从技术角度谈一谈该节目的创作心得。
