构建社会主义和谐社会,是党的十六届六中全会提出的伟大战略任务,是一项长期复杂的系统工程,需要社会各方面的共同努力。思想政治工作对于构建和谐社会具有十分重要的意义和作用;同时,构建和谐社会也对思想政治工作提出了新挑战、新任务、新课题和新的更高要求。为进一步深化研究和宣传构建社会主义和谐社会的重大意义、指导思想、目标任务和重大部署,深入探讨思想政治工作对构建和谐社会的重要作用,本刊编辑部与深圳卷烟厂联合举办“‘好日子杯’构建社会主义和谐社会”笔谈活动。
