天王公社是我省栗产区,栗林面积2万多亩,所产茅栗壳薄、味甜、品质好,在国内外市场上颇受欢迎。近年来,在毛主席“以粮为纲,全面发展”方针的指引下,在“农业学大寨”群众运动的推动下,广大贫下中农加强了栗园的管理,栗子产量不断提高,1972年产量达85.5吨,为国家做出了一定的贡献。但近两年来由于遭受栗实象鼻虫、栗实蛾的危害,每年都造成较大的损失。如1973年损失栗果6万斤左右,使之丰产不能丰收。为了大力发展栗子生
