作为推测癌症预后或恶性度的病理学因素,常用的有肿瘤的分化度、肿癌细胞的异型度、病期等,最近利用流式细胞仪或显微测光检出DNA图谱异常峰,以测定S期细胞的比例从而推断肿瘤细胞的增殖能力,关于它们与肿瘤的预后和恶性度极相关的报导逐渐增多。另一方面,历来利用苏木素-伊红(HE)进行病理形态学的检查,通过测定肿瘤细胞核分裂像的多少来推测肿瘤的增殖能力。即认为核分裂像多的肿瘤比少的肿瘤增殖速度快,恶性度也高。但是不同人进行核分裂像计数的值相差很大,可见不是一个可信度高的方法。
As a pathological factor that presumes the prognosis or the degree of malignancy of cancer, the degree of differentiation of the tumor, the degree of abnormality of the tumor cells, and the stage of disease are commonly used. Recently, abnormal peaks of the DNA pattern were detected by flow cytometry or microphotometry. The proportion of cells in the S phase is determined to infer the proliferative capacity of the tumor cells, and reports on them are highly correlated with the prognosis and the degree of malignancy of the tumor. On the other hand, hematoxylin-eosin (HE) has historically been used for pathomorphological examination to estimate the proliferation capacity of tumors by measuring the number of tumor cell nuclear divisions. In other words, it is considered that tumors with many mitoses are more prone to tumor growth than those with few tumors, and the degree of malignancy is also high. However, the values of different people performing mitoses are quite different. It can be seen that this is not a highly reliable method.
