榛子是珍贵的油料树种,我省资源丰富。近年来,由于缺乏管理,致使榛林资源逐年减少,榛树生长衰退,病虫害严重,产量下降,因此,急需采取措施,加强对野生榛林的管理。我所经过连续5年的试验,对野生榛林进行垦复管理,单位面积产量增加两三倍,具体做法是: 1.选地及区划。野生榛林多分布在交通不便的近山丘陵区,应本着先易后难,由近及远的原则,逐步加以垦复。首先选盖度在80％以上,集中成片的阳坡或半阳坡榛林,为专业经营墓地,然后根据自然条件划为若干小区,每个小区面积2亩左右,小区之间留1米宽作业道。
