《亚泉杂志》是我国人自办的第一部自然科学期刊。它创刊于清光绪二十六年(1900)阴历十月,基本上为半月刊,在初八日及廿三日出版,至次年四月停刊,总共出过十期。由于它在我国介绍了近代自然科学,它就成为研究我国近代自然科学史——特别是近代化学史方面的一项重要参考资料。但是,这种期刊保存下来的为数极少,据1961年出版的《全国中文期刊联合目录》所载,全国只有北京大学图书馆藏有全份及浙江图书馆藏有3—5,7,9五期。近来中国科学院图书馆才收购到一整套。为了研究我国近代化学史的方便起见,我们想在此对它的主要內容及其意义作一番介绍。
Yaquan Magazine is the first natural science journals run by our countrymen. It was first published in lunar calendar October of the Twenty-sixth Year of the Guangxu (1900), basically a semi-monthly publication, published on the eighth and the 23rd days, and stopped in April the following year for a total of ten issues. Since it introduced the modern natural sciences in our country, it became an important reference material for studying the history of modern natural sciences in our country, especially the history of modern chemistry. However, the number of such journals is extremely small. According to the Joint National Directory of Chinese Periodicals published in 1961, only the Peking University Library has a complete possession of the library and the third and fifth volumes of the 5th, . Chinese Academy of Sciences recently acquired a set of libraries. In order to study the convenience of modern Chinese history, we would like to introduce here its main content and its significance.
